Weekend is over..

Well, we had a fun weekend! We came out to our timeshare in Conroe, invited some good friends and family. Anakin, Paige, & I went to a birthday party for my friend Shelby's daughters 11th Birthday! It was lots of fun got to visit with some old friends I hadn't seen in a while, we went out to the lake and swam. Fun fun! Last night Anakin an I went to grandma's while Daddy was recording his CD for his band.

I have been talking with a lady from Bay City since about April to get some family/mommy & me photos done, FINALLY, I scheduled the photo shoot, but she was booked till October 27, well call it luck or what you like someone cancelled and now we get to go next weekend (August 4) to get the photos done, I'm so excited! And... That's not all of it I am doing a Boudoir photo shoot on November 12, I've never done anything like that before but I'm sure my husband won't be complaining when he gets the photos for Christmas =]

We have meeting here at the resort at 2 p.m. Today then were heading back to Sargent (home sweet home) on Friday night when we got here I we t to smoke a cigarette outside and I sat in the metal chairs they have on the porch and the chair broke, it stabbed me in the back, I already have enough back issues that didn't help any. I don't know what they can do but I feel I should be compensated some how, what if my 2 year old sat in it that metal piece that stabbed me could have stabbed him, or if it would have went through it could have paralyzed me for the rest of my life. They really need to check everything out when people check out so things like this don't happen, it could have been a lot worse.

Well I guess we better start getting ready to head to the meeting!! Byeeeee

Tired, finally in Laredo..

Well today seemed so long, the alarm went off at 6:00 a.m. we had to be at work by 8 and, of course we got stuck at the swing bridge for 35 minutes while the barges passed, and so I'm sure you already know we were late. That bridge is horrible and today was a nightmare at it. I've never in almost 4 years of living in Sargent seen the bridge so busy, with boat, after barge, after boat passing by so frequently, oh well. I bought Homer tickets to go see Rise Against and NOFX in Corpus Christi on September 21, 2012 I can't wait, and best part he was sooo HAPPY, I love making my husband smile, it's such a gorgeous one.

This summer has been really HOT! I mean I know I live in Texas but, GEEZ! Today it was so hot at work out of my 2 weeks working this job I think today was the hottest. I must have sweated a gallon or two. I have been staining the ceiling, painting the walls, and today the boss asked if I wanted to stain the 2 porches. I really enjoy the work believe it or not I'd rather work outside with a bunch of men than be cooped up in an office or in a restaurant waiting tables.

Well I guess it's time to finally get some rest, after work we headed to Laredo (i drove here, guess who is driving home? Tehehehe) we left Sargent at 6:30 p.m. and it was a 6 hour drive. I'm pooped, it's 2:30 a.m. and the bed is calling my name, plus my phone is dying.

It's been a long week..

This week has just been dragging by it seems like. Or, maybe it's because every part of my body is sore from painting and staining an entire house! Normally I feel like I'm 65 but this week I feel 105, haha, but really I'm just 26. I am so ready for tomorrow night to come we're going to head down to Laredo, and hopefully we can find someone to baby sit so we can go see the new Batman.

I wish this work day was over come on 9 p.m. Working 2 jobs is tiring! Peace out! =]

Hump day!

Well it's finally Wednesday soo close till Friday, I can't wait we're going to Laredo to visit the family. I think we might get to see the girls too! =] I love my step daughters they are so awesome and they love their baby brother so much, I love having them all together. Hopefully one day try can come visit us here in Houston.

I have been working with my husband these last 2 weeks and man my back is killing me, well everything is killing me. Since I've been working with my husbandI haven't had anytime to do anything, by the time we get off I'm pooped. I must clean this house and finish the laundry before we leave on Friday, I love coming home to a clean house it's so welcoming. I wish that dumb lady wouldn't have hit my car when we lived in Austin, I think she messed up my back for the rest of my life. I'm always in pain now and especially if I am working or on my feet a lot. Hopefully this new doctor can figure out what's wrong because the chiropractor sucked and made me feel worse.

We have been planing a trip to Disney Land to take Anakin to The Cars Adventure Land for November, he is going to LOVE it! I can't wait to see his face when we get there, those movies are his favorite, well anything with cars he loves! Well it's time to get going gotta grab a bite to eat before heading back to work!

Drama, I hate drama..

Today has been full of drama from the restaurant I work at I'm so sick of hearing about what people tell Brian and Morgan I supposedly said. Geez people don't you have anything better to do with your time? Your offended because I can't work on the weekends?! Pfft, who cares? Plus I told the owners when I started working there I couldn't work weekends!!!!! It's not like I'm just coming out of no where with this. Whew glad to get that off my chest!

Today Anakin and I had our mommy and baby boy day which we have every week usually Thursday or Fridays. Anyways, we were watching Dora and they would say one, then Anakin two, Dora two, and so on I couldn't believe my baby boy could count to seven!! SEVEN! Then later in the day when we picked up his daddy he counted to ten, and he knows "ten, twenty, thirty, and so on.. This kid amazes me more and more everyday and how smart he is it's unbelievable. When he was about 2 months old we started to turn on the "your baby can read videos" and sit him in his bouncy chair to watch them, he is now 2 and still watching the videos, when we first got them I wasn't sure if they were going to help or not but more and more everyday I see my son saying new words and big words that you wouldn't think a 2 year old could say. I don't know if it's the videos or just that I have a kiddo that wants to learn everything, he's always ready to try something new, or learn new things, I'm so proud to be his mommy!

I can't wait to get back to work tomorrow with my husband, staining the ceiling. I love doing it, I don't have to listen to any drama or BS! It's great! Well I guess I better get back to work, no customers in the last 3 hours, really bored. Peace.

More rain.. And an unhappy kiddo

It has now been raining for 3 days straight! To make matters worse Directv and Viacom are having a dispute and took all the Nickelodeon channels, MTV, cartoon network, basically all the channels Anakin watches, he was so mad the other night because he couldn't watch Dora before going to bed. And he hasn't been able to go outside and play for days now, poor baby. I think this weekend while we're in New Orleans we will take him somewhere special just for him, for being as patient as a 2 year old little boy can be.

I have been working with Homer since Tuesday staining the ceiling in a house down on the island, I am really enjoying it, I stay busy the whole day which I like, it makes the day fly by. I rather do that than wait tables lol. I love working with my husband, we've always been able to work together. =] My body is so sore from the last few days my shoulders and neck are the worse, I guess thats what happens when you work looking up all day with your hands over your head.

..and it begins yet again, here comes the rain. I love the rain, great sleeping weather, or lounging around the house weather.

Well I guess for now that's it, time to clean this house, finish the laundry and get ready for our trip tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Paige

11 years ago today my mom had a baby girl Paige Lane, I love my sister she's such an awesome kid. I always wanted a brother or a sister when I was growing up and finally when I was 15 my mom had my sister, we're really far apart in age but we still have lots of sister fun. We have our moments like all siblings. Happy Birthday Paige! And many more to come. Paige sent me a text this morning she got an Xbox 360 for her birthday she's so excited she wants either Halo or Call of Duty from us for her birthday.

Rainy days, and routines..

Good afternoon! It has been raining all morning and afternoon so far today, but that's ok with me I love it, not as hot. Gotta love Texas summers. Today has been crazy, we have a routine that works really well during the week, we got off to a bad start this morning, I woke up way late I didn't hear my alarm go off and ended up sleeping in till 10 am and Anakin didn't even wake up, I ended up waking him up in a hurry to get ready because I was supposed to be in Lake Jackson at 8:30 to go get Homer, I can't believe Anakin didn't wake up usually on Monday's he is up early and ready to go play with the twins at Melisa's house. I suppose that is because Homer's blood pressure was crazy high so he had a little trip to the ER and they kept him over night. I guess if you're missing a piece to a puzzle you will never finish it, till you find it and we were missing daddy this morning and it messed our morning up just a tad. Last night, Anakin decided to jump over his baby gate and get into the kitchen, he has discovered how to open the freezer drawer on the fridge, he took out waffles, breakfast bowls, and quesidillas, and of course everything had already gotten warm. So we had to throw away some food, but, mommy made a trip to Walmart earlier today and got some baby proofing fridge locks. =] He probably wont be to happy when he goes to open the freezer or the fridge and he can't, but we can't be wasting food. Little lessons in life. Time for me to head to work till 9 tonight then I'm off till Thursday YAY! I am going to try to attempt to make a cookie bouquet this week, i'm real excited about it! Hopefully the rest of the week runs smoother.

Sunday, the first day of my new blog..

Well here we go, I have been thinking about getting a new blog for a while now but kept putting it off and putting it off, well here we are, I'm not to sure how a blog works or what to write on it haha. Today was a nice morning with the family (Homer and Anakin) we layer around being lazy watching The Walking Dead for the second day in a row. It's just such a great show, and Anakin tries to act like a Zombie which has mommy and daddy cracking up, it so funny. Anakin is now almost 28 months old and he is really starting to push and see how far he can get, it's so frustrating at times then I remind myself he doesn't know any better I just need to have some patience, take a deep breath and teach him right from wrong. But lately Homer and I have really been noticing changes in him he is really starting to be a well behaved young man. He still has his little moments but who doesn't big or small. I am so excited for next weekend we are going to New Orleans on Friday, July 13, 2012, I can't wait to see the St. Louis Cemetery #1, where Voo Doo Goddess, Marie Laveu is buried. That should be tons of fun and I hear it's haunted.. OoO.. And some people told me there is a nice aquarium there too, which reminds me I need to check it out this week online. Such a busy busy next two weeks we have, after New Orleans we are going to Laredo on July 20-23, always love the Laredo trips even though they make me super tired. But I enjoy seeing all my friends and family, and catching up on everyone and everything. I really need to start working harder on my Scentsy I have really been slacking, hmm I need to figure out a way to meet new people and different events around Texas. Well, I guess it's time for this mommy to get to work, at least it's a short day, then I clock in on mommy time. =]
